Product Description
The BS5150 PN16 NRS Cast Iron Gate Valve operates on the principle of linear motion to control the flow of fluids. It consists of a gate or wedge which moves perpendicular to the flow direction to either allow or block the fluid flow. When the valve is opened, the gate is lifted to allow the fluid to pass through the valve. Conversely, when the valve is closed, the gate is lowered to block the flow.
This type of valve provides a tight seal when fully closed, and is suitable for full flow or no flow applications. The robust construction and high-quality materials used in this valve make it well-suited for applications requiring reliable and efficient flow control in industries such as water treatment, HVAC, and general industrial processes.
